Our encounter,
our impulsion…
Meridiem, or the South in latin, is above all a story of encounter! We, Paola and Maxime, are both originally from the south of France and have been friends for over 20 years. We have often dreamed, each in our own way, of owning our own vineyard.
Our encounter gave us the push we needed!
Not coming from winemaking families, we had to build everything from scratch, and had the opportunity to choose where to settle. Our original project led us to a new venture: Meridiem.

… Towards our sustainable & local hybrid wine merchant project
In 2023, we settled in Montpellier to start our "Hybrid Wine Merchant" concept, driven by a thirst for learning the work in the vines, and overseeing the winemaking process, alongside trusted Winemakers and Oenologists. We create unique wine profiles based on our specifications, and then craft our own cuvées with their help.
Through Meridiem, we aim to highlight our local IGPs (Saint-Guilhem-Le-Désert, Cévennes, Pays d’Oc) and our local AOPs (Terrasses du Larzac, Montpeyroux, Languedoc, Roussillon), with the utmost respect for our precious land. Our cuvées are certified HVE and Organic. We cannot emphasize enough the urgency of turning towards our land, paramount element of our philosophy.
